Enhancements



Print Ads

  • New Ad Category selection option. Allows publishers and advertisers to add a category to the ad. When placing ads in a layout, this can be helpful to know ads which are similar brands. Ad categories can be found in your publication setup under "Manage Ad Categories"
  • New Ad position tag system. Allows publishers to define tags which can be used to propose positional based placement in the book.
  • New interface for paper stock manager and manage stocks



Tablet Ads
  • Tablet ads can now be allowed or disallowed per issue.
  • Tablet device profiles.
  • Publisher have a new option to turn on multi-publication upload form for tablet ads. This will allow advertisers to upload to more than one publication at a time.
General Interface Improvements
  • Improved publication details view
  • Improved issue details view
  • Toggle new bleed and safety size display in ad upload form
  • Publisher dashboard improvements
Ad Creator
  • Ad Creator ads now appear in Your Approvals view
  • Better "updating text" user feedback
  • "Return ad to advertiser for approval" implemented

Notifications
  • Revamped interface for managing email notifications. (Now found in Publisher Settings in the section for each type of ad, i.e. print ads, digital ads, etc.)
  • Total separation of emails by file types (print, digital, tablet, page)
  • Proof requested notifications
Virtual Publisher
  • Auto Approve Pages if no preflight errors/warnings are found.
  • ProseXML import from Publisher's Studio complete.
  • Region management on ads, editorial and inserts.
  • Better version management.
  • Better insert management.
Delivery
  • Active mode support for FTP delivery locations
  • New "approval type" in job ticket section of digital receipt
  • New Publisher setting for default units is used in XMP metadata when finalizing ads
    Bug Fixes



    • Billable items report has a new format for Unique ID column. This prevents incorrect unique IDs.
    • Edit Issues button was not working for "one issue per ad."
    • 5 digit precision for points to inches conversion
    • Ad Creator: user created "line break" fields will not be required by form validation
    • Fix for styles site-wide for lines floating left instead of centering
    • Ad advanced search now shows ad size info in results
    • Pick-up ads must be re-uploaded, not revised, in case of errors
    • Better performance for report generation
